Qrata's journey began in 2016 with a view of creating impact in the talent space for the Indian startup ecosystem. After completing 2 decades of corporate life in the US, we felt it was the right time to move back to India as it was experiencing an explosive growth in companies disrupting traditional ways of work. We felt very strongly that our experience in the West could help us immensely in this journey.
Given the demographic dividend in India, we thought there was an opportunity to nurture tech communities in India and create a talent intelligence platform for fast moving global companies . Our overarching purpose is to enable Indian talent to maximize their potential. To this end, we envisaged that rich data about talent through our platform will be the starting point for vibrant careers, including under-represented talent.
We want to scale innovation at fast moving organizations by connecting and growing teams that leave no talent behind. We would like to see the untapped talent in India, irrespective of location, realise its full potential through careers in the exponential technologies space.
